july fourth is the bestest day of the year because there are fireworks. and i swear, from now on, if a boyfriend fails the july fourth test he's getting a boot out the door immediately. hmph. current metric:  2/2 failures on this test, totally accurate way of measuring ahaha

 also - fireworks!!! i forget how much i like them until i see the first one ignites and then i'm like a little kid, enchanted all over again. too gorgeous. they always come out with new ones ever year, and i really liked the new ones this year where after the main burst, the particles kind of just quiver and zigzag everywhere instead of just falling straight down. happy day :D
