raves make me feel alive.

fireworks, music that brings me to shivers, dreams made alive in pulses of lights and bass, everything just caught in an almost magic-like wonder of an experience, and dancing because it just makes you want to.

the music and the lights do it for me, when the first is good, i don't have to be fucked up on drugs or alcohol or anything to enjoy it, it just goes and it goes and it goes. i want to be able to roll tho, but i don't think i ever will unless i get into shape so my heart can take it :'(

crazy how things come full circle. started with paul oakenfold and tiesto back in like 1999, and 15 years later i'm dancing under the desert night to them, and in all those years, have never let go of the genre.
